Chicory gratin

What you need
  • Béchamel sauce
  • Chicory, cooked ham, grated cheese
  • Pepper + salt, nutmeg

Clean and rinse the chicory. Cook in salted water until tender and drain thoroughly. Remove 2/3 of the Béchamel sauce and stir well, before adding the nutmeg and grated cheese. Roll the chicory in the slices of cooked ham, place in an ovenproof dish and coat with sauce before sprinkling with grated cheese. Bake in the oven until the cheese melts.
